Look, we're not just another gym where you mindlessly count reps. Back in 2018, I was tired of the same boring routines that made working out feel like a chore. I'd been into Greek mythology since I was a kid, and one day it hit me - what if training could feel like you're actually on a quest?
That's how Mythrune Atodyssey started. We're building a place where every workout tells a story, where you're not just lifting weights - you're forging your own legend. Whether you're channeling Hercules during strength training or racing through an Odyssey circuit, you're part of something bigger than just fitness.
We believe everyone's got their own hero's journey waiting to happen. Our job? Helping you discover yours, one epic workout at a time.
Hit rock bottom with my own fitness. Couldn't even run up stairs without gasping. That's when I knew something had to change.
Started reading Joseph Campbell's "Hero with a Thousand Faces" while doing personal training cert. Everything clicked - workouts ARE hero journeys.
Saved up enough to quit my day job. Maxed out three credit cards. My family thought I'd lost it. Maybe I had, but sometimes you gotta be a little crazy.
November 3rd, 2018 - opened the doors with 12 founding members. Small space on Granville, but it was ours. First month was rough, won't lie.
Pandemic hit hard. Had to get creative with outdoor sessions and virtual quests. Our community pulled through - that's when I knew we'd built something real.
Over 400 members now. Expanded the space twice. Every single day, I see people transforming their lives. That's the real magic right there.
